Sir J. Cotton's Consent to the Cotton Library Bill.
The House being moved, at the Request of Sir John Cotton, "That he may be called in, to give his Consent to the Bill, intituled, An Act for the better settling and preserving the Library kept in the House at Westminster, called Cotton House, in the Name and Family of the Cottons, for the Benefit of the Public."
Sir John Cotton was called in; and said, "He very chearfully consented to the said Bill."
The Lords went to the Abbey Church, at Westminster, to hear a Sermon.
Adjourn.
