Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Trustees to sell the Estate of Richard Warburton Clerk, for Payment of his Debts, and raising Portions for his Children."

Stockley's Bill.

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Sale of Lands, late of Jeffrey Stockley, in the County of Chester, deceased, for Payment of his Debts, and for making Provision for Mary his Daughter," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Vexatious Suits, to prevent, Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent frivolous and vexatious Suits."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Cornwallis reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

Sir John Harper versus Hayward & al.

Upon reading the Petition of Gladwin Hayward and others, Respondents to the Petition and Appeal of Sir John Harper Baronet, and others; praying a Day for hearing the said Cause:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the First Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Ryegate and Crawley Highways, Bill.
