Madsacker & al. Nat. Bill:
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Naturalization of Gerrard Madsacker and others."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass ?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. with it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Sir Lacon William Child:
To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.
L. Raby takes the Oaths.
This Day Thomas Lord Raby took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute 25° Caroli Secundi Regis.
Corresponding with King James, Bill against.
The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act against corresponding with the late King James and his Adherents."
After some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Cornwallis reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."
Which being read Twice, were agreed to.
L. Mohun Indictment and Proceedings against him.
Whereas this Day was appointed to resume the further Consideration of the Report made the Three and Twentieth of December last, from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Matter of the Indictment and Proceedings against Charles Lord Mohun, in relation to the Death of William Hill:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the further Consideration thereof shall be resumed To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock.
