The House was moved, "That Leave be given to
withdraw the Bill, intituled, An Act for enclosing and
improving the Commons and Waste Grounds of the
Kingdom of England and Dominion of Wales."
To which the House agreed.
Rex versus Mellens, in Error.
Upon reading the Petition of John Earl of Bathe;
praying, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing
the Errors argued, upon Two Writs of Error depending in this House; one, wherein the King is
Plaintiff, against Phillip Mellens Defendant; the
other, wherein the King is Plaintiff, against Robert
Greepe Defendant;" as also the Petition of the said
Phillip Mellens and Robert Greepe to the same Purpose:
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear
Counsel, upon the said Writs of Error, on Saturday the
Twelfth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the
Clock in the Forenoon.

Then the House resumed the adjourned Debate Yesterday, Whether Counsel shall be allowed for the Bill,
intituled, "An Act for punishing Charles Duncomb
Esquire, for contriving and advising the making of
false Indorsements of several Bills made forth at the
Receipt of Exchequer, commonly called Exchequer
Conference to be had with H. C. concerning the Reasons for it:
After some Time spent therein; and it having been
proposed, "That a Conference might be desired with
the Commons, to the End that the Ground upon
which that Bill had proceeded in that House might
appear more plainly to their Lordships:"
Committee to prepare Heads.
Lords Committees were appointed, to prepare what
shall be offered, at a Conference, to be desired
with the Commons, upon the Subject-matter of the
said Debate; (videlicet,)

on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the
Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the

confirming and establishing the Administration of the
Goods and Chattels of Sir William Godolphin Knight,
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be committed
to a Committee of the whole House, on Tuesday next,
at Eleven of the Clock; and that the Parties heard this
Day may then be heard, by their Counsel, if they think
Judges to attend.
ORDERED, That all the Judges attend this House on
Monday next, at Eleven of the Clock.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Lords in and
within Twenty Miles of London be summoned to attend
this House on Friday next, at Eleven of the Clock.
