Woollen Manufacture, Bill.
Whereas Wednesday the Seventeenth Instant was appointed for hearing several Merchants and others, for and against the Bill, intituled, "An Act to encourage the Woollen Manufacture in England, and to restrain the Exportation of Woollen Manufactures from Ireland into any Foreign Parts, and for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool from England and Ireland:"
It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all Persons who think themselves concerned therein shall be heard, for and against the said Bill on Saturday, the Nineteenth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.
Exon and Tiverton, for the Woollen Bill.
Upon reading the several Petitions of the Mayor, Aldermen, and others, of the City of Exeter, the Mayor, Burgesses, Assistants, and others, of the Town of Tiverton, in the County of Devon, and the Petition of the Traders in Woollen Manufactures of the Borough of Colchester; praying, "That the Bill, intituled, An Act to encourage the Woollen Manufacture in England, and to restrain the Exportation of Woollen Manufactures from Ireland into any Foreign Parts, and for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool from England and Ireland, may pass this House:"

Hewett's Bill.
The Earl of Stamford reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees, to be sold, certain Lands of George Hewett Esquire, lying in the County of Middl'x, settled upon his Marriage; and, with the Money arising thereby, for purchasing other Lands in Leicestershire, where his Estate and Seat lies, to be settled to the same Uses," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.
ORDERED, That the said Bill be engrossed.

The Lord Chief Justice of His Majesty's Court of King's Bench brought up a Writ of Error, in the usual Manner; (videlicet,)

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Five and Twentieth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven of the Clock.
Rex versus Greepe, in Error.
After hearing Counsel, at the Bar, to argue the Errors assigned upon a Writ of Error brought into this House from His Majesty's Court of King's Bench, the Ninth Day of February, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninetyseven, wherein Judgement is entered for Robert Greepe, against the King:
Judgement reversed.
Upon due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel thereupon, it is this Day ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Judgement given in the Court of King's Bench, for the said Robert Greepe, against the King, shall be, and is hereby, reversed; and that the Judgement which was given in the Court of King's Bench for the said Robert Greepe shall be, and is hereby, given for the King: And it is further ORDERED and Adjudged, That the said Robert Greepe shall pay, or cause to be paid, to the King, the Sum of Five Pounds, and be imprisoned until Payment be made thereof; and shall stand in the Pillory at Plympton Earl, in the County of Devon; and also in The Old Palace Yard, Westm'r, in the County of Middl'x.

After hearing Counsel, at the Bar, to argue the Errors assigned upon a Writ of Error, brought into this House from His Majesty's Court of King's Bench, the Five and Twentieth Day of February One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-seven, wherein Judgement is entered for Phillip Mellen, against the King:

Upon due Consideration had of what was offered by Counsel thereupon, it is this Day ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Judgement given in the Court of King's Bench for the said Phillip Mellen, against the King, shall be, and is hereby, reversed; and that the Judgement which was given in the Court of King's Bench for the said Phillip Mellen shall be, and is hereby, given for the King: And it is further ORDERED and Adjudged, That the said Phillip Mellen shall pay, or cause to be paid, to the King, the Sum of Five Pounds, and be imprisoned until Payment be made thereof; and shall stand in the Pillory in The Old Palace Yard, Westminster, in the County of Middl'x; and also at Cannington, in Somersetshire.

Greepe and Mellen to be apprehended.
The Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench being present, was directed to issue out his Warrant, to apprehend the said Robert Greepe and Phillip Mellen, in order to bind them to appear in the King's Bench, the First Day of next Term, to be punished according to the said Judgement.
