The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Amendments to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Richard Holford and Mr. Pitt:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to their Lordships Amendments.

Exeter Work-houses, &c. Bill.

Backwell's Creditors, for Relief of, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Relief of the Creditors of Edward Backwell Esquire, deceased."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following:

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Thursday the Nineteenth Day of this Instant May, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Riccards versus Cornforth in Error.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Errors argued, upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Robert Riccards is Plaintiff, and Henry Cornforth Defendant, on Thursday the Twelfth Day of this Instant May, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Hore and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting certain Customary Messuages and Lands, within the Manor of Gillingham, in the County of Dorsett (late the Estate of Thomas Davis Gentleman, deceased), in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of Debts;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, without any Amendment.

Blasphemy, &c. for suppressing, Bill:

ORDERED, That the said Bill be read the Second Time on Tuesday next.

L. Fairfax versus E. of Derby.

Whereas this Day was appointed for hearing Counsel, upon the Petition of the Lord Fairfax and Colonel Widdrington, as also upon the Answer of the Earl of Derby put in thereunto:

The House being informed, "That the Petitioner and the Earl of Derby had agreed upon an Order, to be entered in their Books, if the House think fit, and allow thereof:"

To which the House agreed; and the following Order to be entered; (videlicet,)

"It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled (by the Consent of the Earl of Derby), That he shall so far waive his Privilege, that the Petitioners, the Lord Fairfax and Colonel Widdrington, be at Liberty to publish the Depositions taken in this Cause, without further Order, on the First Day of Trinity Terme next; and the Earl of Derby to have Time to examine his Witnesses till Whitsunday next; and that Publication thereof be also then made, the First Day of Trinity Terme aforesaid; and the said Earl of Derby agrees to consent to such Order in Chancery, for publishing the said Depositions, as shall be needful."
