It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Halfpence and Farthings Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to prevent the coining of Half-pence and Farthings for One Year longer."

Methwold's Bill.

The Lord Ferrers reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Thomas Methwold Esquire to raise the Sum of Twelve Hundred Pounds upon his Estate, by him laid out in improving the same," as fit to pass with an Amendment.

Which was read Twice, and agreed to.

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to naturalize Richard Legg and others," as fit to pass, with several Amendments, by Addition of Names.

Leigh versus Langhorn.

The Lord Marquis of Halifax reported from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Petition of Francis Leigh, as followeth; (videlicet,)

"That Leigh appealed, by Petition, the Fourth of March, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-six.

"That Langhorne put in his Answer thereto, the Seventeenth of the same March.

"That Stidolph ought also then to have answered; but it appears not that he ever put in any Answer.

"That, Leigh not prosecuting his said Appeal, nor complaining to the House that Stidolph had not answered; Langhorne, on the Three and Twentieth of June, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-eight, petitioned, that Leigh's Appeal might be dismissed, or the Cause heard; the House the same Day dismissed the Appeal, without appointing a Day for Hearing, or for shewing Cause why it should not be dismissed.

"That Leigh never complained of that Dismission till the Eight and Twentieth of March last, though the Session began on the Sixth of December.

"That their Lordships are of Opinion, that Leigh's Petition for a Re-hearing should be dismissed; and that the Cause should not be heard."

To which Report the House agreed; and ordered as followeth; (videlicet,)

"Upon Report this Day from the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Petition of Francis Leigh, to which Luke Langhorne and Susanna his Wife, and Sigismond Stydolph Esquire, are Respondents; thereby praying his former Petition may be retained and heard, which by Order of this House was dismissed: It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition of Francis Leigh shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Cause shall not be heard."

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Samuel Wake, alias Jones, to sell Lands, to pay Debts, and to purchase other Lands, adjoining to, and formerly Parcel of, his Manor of Waltham, alias Waltham Holy-Cross, in the County of Essex, to be settled to the same Uses;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to discharge the Ships King William and Charles the Second from the Penalties of the Act of Navigation;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Sale of the Manor of Lordington, alias Lurtington, and Whitwey, and divers Lands in the County of Sussex; and for laying out Five Thousand Pounds in purchasing other Lands, to be settled in Lieu thereof;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments; whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Ship Hope (of great Length, and very serviceable for bringing Masts into this Kingdom) to trade as an English-built Ship;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Seamen's Petition for Relief.

Upon reading the Petition of Daniel Collins, Owen Davis, and Robert Richards, on the Behalf of themselves, and about Four Hundred more, with the Wives of the absent, and the Widows of such as were killed and died, that did belong to His Majesty's Ships The Dunkirke and The Winchester:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition shall be considered on Thursday next, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Dighton versus Greenville, in Error.

Whereas this Day was appointed for the Lord Chief Justice of His Majesty's Court of Common Pleas to report what was offered by Counsel, at the Bar, upon arguing the Errors assigned upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Christopher Dighton is Plaintiff, and Bernard Greenville Defendant:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Report shall be made on Thursday next, at Eleven of the Clock; and that all the Judges do then attend; and all the Lords summoned.

Ward & al. versus E. of Meath.

Whereas To-morrow was appointed for hearing the Cause wherein Edward Ward Esquire and others are Petitioners, and the Earl of Meath and his Wife are Respondents:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Cause shall be heard, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Six and Twentieth Day of this Instant April, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Harvey versus Westerne.

Whereas Wednesday next was appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Elizabeth Harvey is Appellant, and Thomas Westerne Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Eight and Twentieth Day of this Instant April, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that the Cause wherein Francis Grantham and Anne his Wife are Appellants, and Elizabeth Thorold and others are Respondents, shall be heard on Saturday next.
