This Day Henry Earl of Suffolke took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Sandesfelt & al. Leave for a Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Jacob Sanderfelt, and Nicholas Wayfort, both Protestants; praying Leave to bring in a Bill for their Naturalization; they having been Captains, in the French Service, in Baron Sparr's Regiment; and came from France to England, out of Zeal to serve Her Majesty:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Leave to bring in a Bill, as desired.

L. Viscount Roseberie versus Taylor & al.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Archibald Primrose Lord Viscount Roseberie, in the Kingdom of Scotland, and the Lady Dorothy his Wife, only Daughter and Heir of Everingham Cressey Esquire, deceased, by Anne his deceased Wife, from Decrees and Proceedings in the Court of Chancery, of the Second of March One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-four, and the Two and Twentieth of November One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-five, and other Proceedings mentioned in the said Appeal, on the Behalf of James Taylor and Elizabeth his Wife, and Samuel Tireman; and praying the Reversal of the said Decrees and Proceedings, and to be relieved therein:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said James Taylor and his Wife, and Samuel Tireman, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on the Second Day of January next, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.

E. of Huntingdon versus Countess Huntingdon & al.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of the Right Honourable George Earl of Huntingdon, from Part of a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Twelfth Day of May last, on the Behalf of Frances Countess Dowager of Huntingdon, Theophilus, Ferdinando, Anne, Frances, Katherine, and Margaret Hastings, Children of the said Countess, by Theophilus Earl of Huntingdon her late Husband, deceased, Sir Philip Meadowes, and John Gery; and praying, "That such Part of the said Decree as is complained of in the said Appeal may be reversed and set aside, and the Premises discharged from any Demands the Respondents, or any of them, pretend to have, in respect of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pounds and Interest, in the Appeal mentioned; and that Proceedings on the Decree may be stayed:"

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Alice Warburton and Hester Warburton, Daughters and Executrixes of Robert Warburton Esquire, deceased, from Part of a Decree, made in the Court of Chancery, the Seventeenth Day of October and Eighth Day of November One Thousand Seven Hundred, and the Affirmation thereof on the Thirteenth of May One Thousand Seven Hundred and One, on the Behalf of Peter Warburton Esquire; and praying, "That so much of the said Decree (as gives the Respondent a Double Share of the Personal Estate, and of Four Hundred Pounds, and also from the Denial of Costs) may be reversed:"

Sir Robert Marsham's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for rectifying a Mistake in a late Act, intituled, An Act to enable Sir Robert Marsham Knight and Baronet to dispose of Lands in Hertfordshire; and to settle other Lands, of better Value, in Kent, to the same Uses as the Lands in Hertfordshire are settled."

Lands in Brampton, to exchange for others in Wickham, Ravenscroft's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act concerning the Exchange of certain Lands, lying in or near Brampton, in the County of Northampton, for Lands lying in or near Wickham, in the County of Lincolne."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Saturday the Nineteenth Day of this Instant December, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Ducass & al. Elders of the French and Dutch Protestant Churches, Petition, to be exempted from the Occasional Conformity Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Joseph Ducass, John Denew, Daniel Vanmildert, and Thomas Vieroot, in Behalf of themselves and the rest of the Elders of the Dutch and French Protestant Churches in England; praying to be exempted out of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for preventing Occasional Conformity:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition shall be referred to the Consideration of the Committee to whom the Bill stands committed.

Occasional Conformity, Bill to prevent.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for preventing Occasional Conformity."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee had made some further Progress in the Bill; and desire another Time might be appointed, for them to proceed on the said Bill."

ORDERED, That this House shall be put into a Committee again, to proceed upon the said Bill, on Monday next; and all the Lords summoned.

Sherard versus Harcourt.

ORDERED, That this House will hear the Cause wherein Brownlow Sherard is Appellant, and Symon Harcourt and others are Respondents, on Monday the Fourteenth Day of this Instant December, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.
