Bp. Chester takes the Oaths.

This Day Nicholas Lord Bishop of Chester took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Queen's Answer to Address.

The Lord Keeper reported Her Majesty's Answer to the Address, as followeth; (videlicet,)

"I am extremely sensible of the particular Concern you express for Me in this Address, and of your great Zeal for the common Cause of Europe.

"I rely very much upon the Assurances you give Me of your Duty and Affection; and shall always use My best Endeavours to establish the Safety and Happiness of the Kingdom."

Ld. Mohun versus D. of Hamilton.

Whereas Friday the Nineteenth Day of this Instant November was appointed, for James Duke of Hamilton to put in his Answer to the Appeal of Charles Lord Mohun:

The House being this Day moved, "That the said Duke might have further Time allowed for answering thereunto;" it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said James Duke of Hamilton hath hereby Time allowed him, for answering to the Appeal of Charles Lord Mohun, until Friday the Third Day of December next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon.

Bowdler Leave for a Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of William Bowdler Gentleman and Elizabeth his Wife, and Mary Bowdler, Mother of the said William Bowdler; humbly praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for Sale of several Houses and Lands, in Ludlow and elsewhere, in the Counties of Salop and Radnor, for Payment of Debts, and raising Portions for Daughters:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Leave given them to bring in a Bill, as desired.
