This Day Thomas Earl of Pembroke, Lord High Admiral of England, took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statute.

Windowe's Bill:

The Lord North reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling the Estate late of John and Robert Windowe, Gentlemen, deceased, upon Trustees, to be sold, and the Purchase-money applied to the Uses therein mentioned," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Williams's Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees, the Estate of Sir William Powel Baronet, deceased, for raising Portions for the Younger Children of Sir John Williams and Dame Mary his Wife (Daughter of the said Sir William Powel); and to enable William Williams, their Eldest Son, to make a Jointure to such wife as he shall marry."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Gery and Mr. Rogers:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Hunt's Bill:

The Lord Jeffreys reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Bishop of Gloucester and his Successors to make distinct and separate Leases of the Manors, Lands, and Premises therein mentioned," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Newdigates Petition withdrawn.

The Lord President acquainted the House, "That Sir Richard Newdigate and his Children have agreed; and therefore it is desired, that the Petition may be withdrawn."

ORDERED, That the Petition be delivered back to the Daughters of Sir Richard Newdigate.
