ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the Committee abovenamed; who are to meet on Monday the Sixth Day of April next, at the Time and Place aforesaid.

Mathews's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Estate of William Mathews Gentleman and Katherine his Wife in Trustees, to be sold, for the Purposes therein mentioned."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Relief of Frances Countess of Tyrconnel, Relict of Richard late Earl of Tyrconnel, of the Kingdom of Ireland," is committed; to meet on Monday the Sixth Day of April next, at the Time and Place aforesaid.

Robert Lord Lexington took the Oath of Abjuration, and subscribed the same, pursuant to the late Act of Parliament.

Roll versus Gree, in Error.

The Lord Chief Justice of Her Majesty's Court of King's Bench, brought up a Writ of Error, in the usual Manner, wherein

Gregory Gree Defendant.

Johnson's Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting several Lands, in the Counties of Surrey and Sussex, the Estate of Mary Johnson, Wife of William Johnson Gentleman, in Trustees, to be sold, for discharging several Mortgages and other Debts charged upon the Estate of the said William Johnson; and settling his Estate upon his said Wife and her Children by him, clear of Incuribrances."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Balsal Hospital Bill.

The Lord Bishop of Peterborough reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Government of the Hospital of Balsal, in the County of Warwick, founded by the Lady Katherine Leveson," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Mansell's Bill.

The Earl of Scarbrough reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Edward Mansel Esquire to raise a further Sum of One Thousand Pounds, on a Mortgage of the Impropriate Rectory of Llanridian, for Payment of Debts," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Public Accompts, for taking, &c. Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for taking, examining, and stating, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee on the said Bill.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Viscount Longueville reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for taking examining, and stating, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Ranger versus Ashmead, in Error.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Errors argued, upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Charles Ranger is Plaintiff, and Christopher Ashmead Defendant, on Saturday the Eighteenth Day of April next, at Eleven a Clock.

Sir Jeffrey Jeffreys versus Attorney General et al.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause wherein Sir Jeffrey Jeffreys is Appellant, and Her Majesty's Attorney General and Commissioners of the Customs are Respondents, on Tuesday the One and Thirtieth Day of this Instant March, at Eleven a Clock.

Poumie et al. Nat.

Upon reading the Petition of Joshua Poumie and others; praying to be naturalized:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners may be added to the Bill of Naturalization depending in this House, as desired.

Message from H. C. to return the Bill, for explaining the Act 7 Will. III. for settling the Succession, &c. with Amendments.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Etterick and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for explaining a Clause in an Act, made at the Parliament begun and holden at Westminster the Two and Twentieth of November in the Seventh Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King William the Third, intituled, An Act for the better Security of His Majesty's Royal Person and Government;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

ORDERED, That the said Amendments be read Tomorrow.

Repairing Bridges, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to explain and alter the Act, made in the Two and Twentieth Year of King Henry the Eighth, concerning repairing and amending of Bridges in the Highways; and for repealing an Act, made in the Twenty-third Year of Queen Elizabeth, for the re-edifying of Cardaffe Bridge, in the County of Glamorgan; and also for changing the Day of Election of the Wardens and Assistants of Rochester Bridge."
