The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enabling Agnes Lee Widow to renew certain Leases for Lives, belonging to Richard Lee her Son, who is an Infant," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Maule's and Aldworth's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for empowering the Barons of the Court of Exchequer in Ireland to grant a Commission to some Persons in England, to administer to Thomas Maule Esquire, Remembrancer of the said Court, the usual Oaths for the due Execution of his Office; and to enable him to take the Oaths, and subscribe the Declaration, in the Court of Chancery in England, instead of those requisite to be taken and subscribed by the Laws of Ireland, in order to qualify him to execute the said Office."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords Committees above-named.

Woollen Manufacture Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the continuing an Act, made in the First Year of Her Majesty's Reign, for the more effectual preventing of Abuses and Frauds of Persons employed in the working up the Woollen, Linen, Fustian, Cotton, and Iron Manufactures of this Kingdom."

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Thursday next; and that all the Lords be summoned.

Cole versus Godfrey.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for hearing of the Cause wherein Anne Cole Widow and Harry Cole are Appellants, and Mercy Godfrey Respondent:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Thursday the Seven and Twentieth of this Instant February, at Eleven a Clock; and that the Cause appointed to be heard that Day shall be heard on Saturday the First Day of March next.

Jermyn's Diverce Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for the House to be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for dissolving the Marriage of Stephen Jermyn, now the only Son of Stephen Jermyn, of London, Merchant;" as also to hear Counsel and Witnesses for Sarah Jermyn, upon her Petition:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the House shall be put into a Committee upon the said Bill, To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock, the First Business.

Articles of Union between England and Scotland.

The House (pursuant to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, to proceed further in the Consideration of the Articles of Union, and the Act ratifying and approving the Treaty.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported from the Committee of the whole House, "That the Committee had gone through the said Articles; and that he was ready to make his Report, when the House shall please to receive the same."

It is thereupon Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Report shall be made on Thursday next, at Twelve a Clock; and that all the Lords be summoned then to attend, and also the Judges.

Humberston's Report.

The Lord Keeper acquainted the House, "That the Lord Chief Justice of Her Majesty's Court of Queen's Bench and the Lord Chief Justice of Her Majesty's Court of Common Pleas were ready to make their Report to this House, upon the Petition of Mathew Humberston Esquire, referred to them, when the House will please to receive the same: Also,

Drake's Report.

"That Mr. Justice Tracy and Mr. Baron Price were ready to make their Report to this House, upon the Petition of Jane Drake Widow, and others, referred to them, when the House will please to receive the same: Also,

Lady Rich's Report.

"That Mr. Justice Gould and Mr. Baron Bury were ready to make their Report to this House, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for discharging several Lands in the County of Worcester, from the Sum of Two Thousand Pounds, given by the Will of Dame Elizabeth Rich Widow, deceased, for Charitable Uses; and for charging the same upon other Lands, in the County of Borks," referred to them, when the House will please to receive the same: Also,

Thomas's Report.

"That Mr. Justice Tracy and Mr. Baron Price were ready to make their Report to this House, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling the Estate of Daniel Thomas Gentleman, deceased, for the Benefit of his Wife and Children," referred to them, when the House will please to receive the same: Also,

Canham's Report.

"That Mr. Baron Smith and Mr. Justice Dormer were ready to make their Report to this House, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for supplying the Defect of an Appointment for the Provision of the Younger Children of John Canham Esquire, deceased, pursuant to his Marriage Settlement; and for settling an Estate in Totteridge, in Lieu of Thirteen Hundred Pounds, the Remainder of a Sum of Money agreed to be laid out in a Purchase."

Which said several Reports being delivered; it was agreed, and Ordered, That they lie on the Table, to be read and considered by the Lords of this House.
