The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Amendments to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Rogers and Mr. Meddlicot:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to their Lordships Amendments made thereto.

Williams's Bill.

The Marquis of Dorchester reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Sale of certain Houses, near Aldgate, in London, late the Estate of William Williams Esquire, deceased; and for purchasing Lands in Lieu thereof," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Humberston Church Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for encouraging the rebuilding the ancient Parish Church of Humberston, in the County of Lincolne; and settling a Rent Charge, of greater Value, on the Bishop of Lincoln and his Successors, in Lieu of the Rectory of Humberston; and for other Purposes therein mentioned."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Wednesday next, at Nine a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Blake et al. versus Johnson.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Daniel Blake, John England, and others, Creditors of the Lord Lovelace; as also upon the Answer of Sir Henry Johnson and his Wife put in thereunto: Counsel appearing for the Residuary Legatees, and desiring to be heard on the Appeal, as it stands before the House:

Hereupon the Committee following was named.

Thompson versus Ling, in Error.

The Lord Chief Justice of Her Majesty's Court of Queen's Bench (in the usual Manner) brought up a Writ of Error; wherein Brian Thompson and Walter Wildboare are Plaintiffs, and Brian Ling Defendant.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Toke and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable the Trustees of William Elson, an Infant, to sell Part of his Estate, for Payment of his Father's Debts on Specialties;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

E. of Anglesea et al. versus E. of Derby, for waiver of Privilege:

The Earl of Derby (pursuant to the Order of the Fifth Instant) gave the House an Account, "That, the Matter contained in the Petition of the Earl of Anglesey and others being of great Consequence to him, he declared, he would put in his Answer To-morrow."

To which the House agreed.

Lords summoned about

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Lords be summoned to attend this House To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock; and acquainted, "That it is upon Matters relating to the Privilege of Peers."

Vachel versus Breton.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Dorothy and Thomas Vachell, to which Lucy Breton and others are Respondents:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will proceed to hear Counsel further, in the said Cause, Tomorrow, at Eleven a Clock; and nothing to intervene.

Annesley versus Dixon, in Error.

Whereas To-morrow was appointed, to proceed in hearing the Errors argued upon the Writ of Error depending in this House, wherein Francis Annesley is Plaintiff, and Robert Dixon Defendant:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will proceed in the said Cause on Monday next, at Eleven a Clock; and that all the Lords and Judges be summoned then to attend; and that Notice hereof be given to the Counsel who appeared at the Bar in this Cause, that they also attend.

Address reported:

The Lord Steward reported from the Lords Committees, an Address drawn by them.

Which was read Twice, and agreed to, as follows; (videlicet,)

"We, Your Majesty's most dutiful Subjects, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, return our most humble Thanks to Your Majesty, for Your Gracious Approbation of the Share we had in bringing the Treaty of Union between Your Two Kingdoms of England and Scotland to a happy Conclusion; a Work, that (after so many fruitless Endeavours) seems designed by Providence to add new Lustre to the Glories of Your Majesty's Reign: The Success of Your Arms having secured us from all Attempts from Abroad; and the Care Your Majesty has taken of the firm Establishment of the Protestant Succession having given a great and lasting Security to our Religion, as in the Church of England by Law established; we beg Leave humbly to assure Your Majesty, that our Endeavours shall never be wanting, to support Your Government at Home, and so to establish the Peace of this Island, that no Dispute may remain among us, but how to acknowledge, in the most dutiful Manner, the auspicious Conduct of so great and so renowned a Queen."

Then, it being moved, "To communicate this Address to the House of Commons, for their Concurrence thereunto;"
