The Lord Viscount Townshend reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act made in the First Year of Her Majesty's Reign, intituled, An Act for the rebuilding and repairing the Piers of the Town and Port of Whitby, in the County of York," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act made in the First Year of Her Majesty's Reign, intituled, "An Act for the re-building and repairing the Piers of the Town and Port of Whitby, in the County of York."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

Blenkarne versus Jennens & al.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of William Blenkarne, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Five and Twentieth Day of November One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seven, by the Master of the Rolls, and the Decree of the Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain, in May last; and also from a Decree, upon re-hearing, of the Third Day of July last; and also of the Master's Report of the Thirteenth of December last past; and an Order of the Thirteenth of January One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight, whereby the Master's Report was confirmed, on the Behalf of Robert Jennons Esquire and Anne his Wife, Daughter, Heir, and Executrix of the last Will and Testament of Carew Guydot her late Father deceased, and Adrian Moor Gentleman; and praying the Reversal of so much of the said Decrees, Orders, and Report, as relate to the Petitioner's Payment of the Principal Money, Interest, and Costs, or any Part thereof, may be reversed and set aside; and that Robert Jennens and his Wife and the said Adrian Moor may answer thereunto:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Robert Jennens and his Wife and Adrian Moor may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and they are hereby required to put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Thursday the Four and Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at Eleven a Clock.
