Queen's Answer to the Address.
The Lord Steward reported, "That the Lords with White Staves had attended Her Majesty, with the Address of this House upon Her Majesty's Message; to which Her Majesty was pleased to return this Gracious Answer:
Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Her Majesty's most Gracious Message to this House of the Second Instant, and their Lordships Address to Her Majesty thereupon, and Her Majesty's most Gracious Answer to the said Address, shall be forthwith printed and published.
Address for the E. of Peterborow's Stay, for a few Days, to be dispensed with.
"The House having resolved very speedily to take into Consideration the present State of the War in Spain: It is Resolved, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That an humble Address be made to Her Majesty, that She will be pleased to dispense with the Earl of Peterborow's Stay for a few Days, in order to assist in that Inquiry: And it is hereby Ordered, That the Lords with White Staves do humbly attend Her Majesty, with this Resolution."
