Sheriffs Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Ease of Sheriffs, in the Execution of their Offices, and in passing their Accompts."

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Monday next; and that the Judges do then attend this House.

Message from H. C. to return the E. of Salisbury's Bill, with Amendments:

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Freman and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better enabling James Earl of Salisbury and his Trustees to make Sale of certain Manors, Lands, and Hereditaments, in the Counties of Northampton and Dorset, and a Fee-farm Rent, for the Purposes in the said Act mentioned;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Then the said Amendments were read, and agreed to.

Message to H. C. that the Lords agree to them.

And a Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Orlebar and Mr. Holford, to acquaint them therewith.

Message from thence, to return Lee's Bill, with Amendments:

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Ferrier and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enabling Henry Lee the Younger, alias Lee Warner, to make a Jointure upon his Marriage;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Then the said Amendments were read, and agreed to.

Message to H. C. that the Lords agree to them.

And a Message was also sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Orlebar and Mr. Holford, to acquaint them therewith.

Shee versus Lawless.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Richard Shee Esquire, from several Orders, or Decrees, made in the Court of Exchequer in Ireland, in certain Causes, wherein Thomas Lawless Gentleman was Plaintiff, and the said Richard Shee Defendant; et è contra:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel further in this Cause, To morrow, at Twelve a Clock; and that the other Causes be removed in Course.

Adjourn.
