Soldiers, Sailors, &c. to exercise Trades; and Officers to accompt, Bill.
The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable such Officers and Soldiers as have been in Her Majesty's Service during the late War to exercise Trades; and for Officers to accompt with their Soldiers."
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.
And the Lord North and Grey reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill, and made some Amendments thereunto; and agreed to a Clause to be added at the End of the said Bill."
Which Amendments were severally read Twice, and agreed to; and the Clause ordered to be engrossed.
Naval Stores from America, Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act, made in the Third and Fourth Years of the Reign of Her present Majesty, intituled, An Act for encouraging the Importation of Naval Stores from Her Majesty's Plantations in America; and for encouraging the Importation of Naval Stores from that Part of Great Britain called Scotland, to that Part of Great Britain called England."
Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Saturday next, at Twelve a Clock.

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of George Innes, Provost of the Borough of Elgin, in North Britain, and others, from several Interlocutory Orders, or Sentences, of the Lords of Session:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear Counsel farther in this Cause, To-morrow, at Twelve a Clock.
