Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet To-morrow, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Memorandum, That the aforenamed Committee was allowed to meet, contrary to the Standing Order; for that the Bill is only to enable an Infant Trustee to support contingent Remainders, to join in suffering a Common Recovery as if he were of full Age, in order to make a Marriage Settlement.

Gee & Ux. versus E. of Jersey, Lewis, & al.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Richard Gee Esquire and Philippa his Wife, who was the Executrix of Colonel John Beaumont, from a Report and Orders of the Court of Exchequer, upon arguing Exceptions, the Tenth of February One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight, and other Proceedings on the Behalf of Edwin Lewis, Administrator of James Pearse the Younger, the Right Honourable Edward Earl of Jersey and the Right Honourable Barbara Countess of Jersey his Wife, and Elizabeth Pearse Relict and Executrix of James Pearse the Elder; and praying, "That the said Report and Orders may be set aside and reversed; and that an Account may be taken, according to the Decree made in this Case; as also that the Respondents may answer the Premises; and the Service of this Order on the Respondents Clerk in Court may be good Service, in order thereunto:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Edwin Lewis, the Earl of Jersey and his Lady, and Elizabeth Pearse, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and do put in their Answer thereunto, in Writing, on Thursday the Eighth Day of December next; and that the Service of this Order on the Respondents Clerk in Court shall be good Service, in order thereunto.
