Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for confirming a Sentence given in the Arches Court of Canterbury, for divorcing Benedict Leonard Calvert Esquire and the Lady Charlotte his Wife; and for bastardizing the spurious Issue of the said Lady Charlotte."

Bp of Raphoe's Bill:

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for discharging John Lord Bishop of Rapho, in the Kingdom of Ireland, from all Penalties, Disabilities, and Incapacities, incurred by him, in omitting to take the Oath of Abjuration on or before the First Day of August One Thousand Seven Hundred and Three; and for making all Ecclesiastical and Civil Acts done by him as Bishop of Rapho, after such Omission, to be of the same Validity as they would have been if he had taken the said Oath in due Time."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Sir R. Grosvenor's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Trustees to perform the Marriage Articles of Sir Richard Grosvenor Baronet and Dame Jane his Wife, notwithstanding the Lunacy of Dame Mary Grosvenor, and the Infancy of her Younger Children; and for settling the Estate in the Family; and making Building Leases, as effectually as if the said Dame Mary was of sound Mind, and her Children of full Age, and all had joined in levying Fines."

Brazen nose College Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for confirming to the Principal and Scholars of King's Hall and College of Brasen-nose, in the University of Oxford, the Purchase of the Advowsons of Stepney and other Churches; and for settling the same to the Benefit of the said College."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Saturday the Tenth Day of March next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Malet's Bill:

The Earl of Winchilsea reported from the Lords Committees to whom was referred the Consideration of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for rectifying the Mistake, and enlarging the Time for a Composition given by an Act of Parliament, passed in the Seventh Year of Her Majesty's Reign, intituled, An Act to enable the Lord High Treasurer, or Commissioners of the Treasury, for the Time being, to compound with William Malet Esquire for the Debt of his Father, for whom he was Surety while Receiver General for the County of Somerset and City of Bristol: That they had considered the same; and think it fit to pass, without any Amendment."

Driscol versus Dalton:

Whereas To-morrow was appointed for resuming the adjourned Debate, touching what was offered by Counsel at the Bar, on the Appeal of Dennis Driscoll Esquire, and the Answer of Richard Dalton put in thereunto:

Appeal withdrawn.

Upon reading this Day an Agreement signed by the Appellant and Respondent, desiring Leave to withdraw the said Appeal and Answer; who being called in, and acknowledging the same at the Bar; it is thereupon Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Appellant and Respondent have Leave to withdraw the said Appeal and Answer, as desired.

Upon reading the Petition of the Right Honourable Thomas Earl of Pembroke and Montgomery, Mary the Wife of Nicholas Lepell Esquire, Thomas Browne Esquire, the Right Honourable Gervas Lord Pierrepont Baron of Arglas in the Kingdom of Ireland, John Burgh Gentleman, James Beardman Gentleman, and Sir Gabriel Roberts; praying to be heard, by their Counsel, against the Petition and Appeal of Nicholas Baker and others, Creditors of George late Duke of Bucks, deceased, when the same comes on to be heard before this House:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, according to the Prayer of the Petition.

Mathew's Bill.
