Queen's Answer to Address of both Houses on the Peace:

The Lord Chancellor reported, "That both Houses did, on Saturday last, present to Her Majesty their humble Address; and that Her Majesty was pleased to return this most Gracious Answer:

"My Lords, and Gentlemen,

"The State of Public Affairs in Europe, as well as the Necessities of My own Kingdoms, obliged Me to enter into a Negotiation of Peace; and, notwithstanding all Obstructions and Difficulties, I have, by the Blessing of God, brought it to a happy Conclusion.

"I esteem this Address as the united Voice of My affectionate and loyal Subjects; and I return you all the heartiest Thanks which can be given by a Sovereign, who desires nothing more than to see Her People safe and flourishing."

Address and Answer to be printed.

Ordered, That the said Address of both Houses of Parliament, and Her Majesty's most Gacious Answer thereunto, be forthwith printed and published.

Mortuaries in St. Asaph, Bill.

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords Committees, to whom the Consideration of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for taking away Mortuaries within the Diocese of St. Asaph, and giving a Recompence therefor to the Bishop of the said Diocese," was referred, be revived; and meet To-morrow Morning, at Ten a Clock.

Then, it being moved, "That it be an Instruction to the said Committee, That they do receive a Clause in Ease of the Clergy of the Diocese of Bangor, in like Manner as is provided by the Bill for the Diocese of St. Asaph; and for making a Compensation, or Recompence, in Lieu of the Mortuaries, to the Bishop of the said Diocese; and likewise a Clause whereby several Letters Patents granted by Her Majesty, for perpetually annexing a Prebend of Gloucester to the Mastership of Pembroke College in Oxford, and a Prebend of Rochester to the Provostship of Oriel College in Oxford, and a Prebend of Norwich to the Mastership of Catherine Hall in Cambridge, may be confirmed:"

And the Lord Chancellor signifying to the House Her Majesty's Consent:

Ordered, That the said Committee do receive Clauses for the Purposes above-mentioned.

Judges to attend Hearing, Roper's Appeal.

Ordered, That all the Judges do attend this House, on Thursday next, at Twelve a Clock, at the Hearing of the Cause, wherein Edward Roper is Appellant, and Robert Hewett and others are Respondents: and that the Solicitors on either Side do forthwith deliver Cases to the Judges.
