The Amendments added by the Lower House to Mr. Throgmorton's Bill, were this Day Thrice read, and thereupon the Bill expedited.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, An Act prohibiting the Restitution in Dignity or Blood, or Naturalizing, any Person or Persons, before he or they shall take the Oath of Supremacy, or of any that is or shall be a Recusant Convict.

Assart Lands.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the establishing of certain Lands, called Assart Lands, in the Owners and Possessors thereof.

Upon this Second Reading of the Bill, it was debated in the House, Whether the same should be referred to Committees, or no; and, being put to the Question in that Behalf, it was, by the greater Number of Voices, Resolved, That the Bill should not be committed.
