Moved by the Lord Treasurer, and assented unto by the House, That the General Bill for Confirmation of Letters Patents, which proceeded not in the Lower House the last Session, might be again renewed in this Session, and Mr. Attorney General to draw the same.

Corpus Christi College, Oxford.

The Bill, intituled, An Act for the President and Scholars of Corpus Christi College, in the University of Oxford, was brought into the House by the Lord Treasurer, the first of the Committees, with certain Provisos thought meet to be added; which Provisos were presently Twice read, and thereupon the Bill appointed to be ingrossed.

The Bill, intituled, An Act to assure and confirm the Sale of certain Lands, lying within the County of Middlesex, to Thomas Lake, Knight, and Dame Marie his Wife, was brought into the House, by the Lord Chamberlain, the first of the Committees, without any Alteration or Amendment; whereupon the said Bill was read the Third Time.

The Bill, intituled, An Act for Reformation of the common Sin of Swearing and taking the Name of GOD in vain, which was referred to Committees, and (being considered of by them) sound not meet to be proceeded in; a new Bill of the same Title was drawn by the Committees, and presented to the House by the Earl of Northampton. Prima vice lecta.
