Returned also, with the Consent of the Lower House to an Amendment added by the Lords.

An Act for the enabling of the Assurance of certain Lands conveyed for the Portions of Three of the Daughters of John Wentworth, Esquire, and for the Confirmation of certain other Estates for Life in other Lands; and to enable Sir Jo. Tenures and Wardships.

The Lord Chancellor put the Lords in Mind, That the Lower House will expect shortly to hear from this House, touching some Conference concerning the Matter of Tenures; wherein his Lordship declared his own Opinion to be, That some Message should, with convenient Expedition, be sent unto them, for Preparation; whereunto his Lordship moved, That, on Wednesday, in the Morning, this House would among themselves take further Consideration what shall be fit to be done herein; which Motion was generally allowed, and Ordered accordingly.
