Liverpool Dock, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enlarging the Time granted by an Act passed in the Eighth Year of the Reign of Her late Majesty Queen Anne, intituled, An Act for making a convenient Dock, or Bason, at Liverpoole, for Security of all Ships trading to and from the said Port of Liverpoole."

Dashwood & al. Pet. referred to Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of Robert Dashwood Esquire and Dorothea his Wife, and Cholmley Turner Esquire and Jane his Wife; praying, "That Leave may be given to bring in a Bill, for confirming an Agreement made by the Petitioners, for a Partition of the Manor of Yarnton, and other Messuages, Lands, and Hereditaments, in the County of Oxon, in such Manner as to this House shall seem meet:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition be, and is hereby, referred to the Lord Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas and Mr. Justice Tracy; who are forthwith to summon all Parties concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands; and whether all Parties that may be concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

Cuffe's Pet. referred to Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of John Cuffe Esquire and Margaret his Wife; praying, "That Leave may be given to bring in a Bill, to declare that several Fines levied by the Petitioners, to Joseph Kelly and Maurice Cuffe Esquires, and to the Heirs of the said Joseph Kelly, of the Petitioner Margaret's Estate, notwithstanding the several Conditions in the said Fines mentioned, shall be and enure to the Use of Robert Fitzgerald and Charles Campbell Esquires, subject to the Trusts in an Indenture Tripartite, dated the Seventeenth of May One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fourteen, mentioned; and for other Purposes in the Petition expressed:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition be, and is hereby, referred to Mr. Justice Tracy and Mr. Justice Prat; who are forthwith to summon all Parties concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties that may be concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

Bradshaw & al. versus Sir John Astley & al.:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of John Bradshaw, Richard Row, Thomas Proxsum and Joyce his Wife, John Street and Elizabeth his Wife, Grace Shelmerdine Widow, and Bracey Dorcas, complaining of a Decree made on the Ninth Day of February One Thousand Seven Hundred and Ten, by the then Lord Keeper of the Great Seal of Great Britain, in a Cause wherein the Appellants were Plaintiffs, and Sir John Astley Baronet, Richard Astley, and Mary Bradshaw, Defendants; and likewise of the Master's Report and Order for confirming the same; and other the Proceedings in the Cause subsequent thereto; and praying, "That so much of the said Decree, Report, and Order, as compels the Petitioners to allow or pay Interest upon Interest, or Compound Interest, may be reversed, or rectified:" As also upon the Answers of the said Sir John Astley, Richard Astley, and Mary Bradshaw, put in to the said Appeal; and due Consideration had of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed, with Costs.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the said Decree and Proceedings therein complained of be, and are hereby, affirmed; and that the Appellants do pay, or cause to be paid, to the Respondents, the Sum of Twenty Pounds, for their Costs in respect of the said Appeal.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to consider the Petition of William Cowper Esquire, Clerk of the Parliaments, and to view the Place in the Parliament-office where the Records are deposited, be revived, and meet To-morrow Morning.
