This Day Washington Earl Ferrers sat first in Parliament, after the Death of his Father Robert Earl Ferrers.

and Lord Onslow.

Also, Thomas Lord Onslow sat first in Parliament, after the Death of his Father Richard Lord Onslow.

Their Lordships took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Message from the King, to adjourn.

The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House, "That he was commanded by His Majesty, to signify to their Lordships, That it is His Majesty's Pleasure, that both Houses of Parliament do adjourn to Thursday next, being the Sixteenth Day of this Instant January."

And accordingly,

Adjourn.
