PRAYERS.

Fish Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for the House to be in a Committee of the whole House, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better preventing fresh Fish taken by Foreigners being imported into this Kingdom; and for the Preservation of the Fry of Fish; and for the giving Leave to import Lobsters and Turbots in Foreign Bottoms; and for the better Preservation of Salmon within several Rivers in this Kingdom;" and to hear Counsel, or others, in relation to the same:

It is Ordered, That on Tuesday next this House shall be put into a Committee upon the said Bill; and that Counsel, or others, may be then heard in relation thereunto, before the said Committee.

Report of Precedents concerning E. of Oxon's Pet. to be received.

The House being informed, "That the Committee to whom the Prayer of the Petition of Robert Earl of Oxford and Earl Mortimer, presented to this House the Eighth Instant, was referred, and who were to inspect Precedents of Cases of the like Nature, were ready to make their Report:"

It is Ordered, That the said Report be received Tomorrow, at Two a Clock; and all the Lords to be summoned to attend upon that Occasion.

Mixed or medley Broad Cloth, Bill.

Ordered, That on Monday next this House shall be put into a Committee of the whole House upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to make an Act of the Tenth Year of Her late Majesty, intituled, "An Act for regulating, improving, and encouraging, of the Woollen Manufacture of mixed or medley Broad Cloth; and for the better Payment of the Poor employed therein," more effectual, for the Benefit of Trade in general; and also to render more effectual an Act of the Seventh Year of Her said Majesty's Reign, intituled, "An Act for the better ascertaining the Lengths and Breadths of Woollen Cloth made in the County of York."

Newburgh versus Newburgh:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Henry Newburgh Gentleman, from a Decree of the High Court of Chancery in Ireland, made the Tenth Day of February One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twelve, in a Cause wherein the Appellant was Plaintiff, and Brockhill Newburgh Esquire Defendant; praying, "That the said Decree may be reversed:" As also upon the Answer of the said Brockhill Newburgh put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the said Decree therein complained of be, and is hereby, affirmed.

Security of His Majesty's Person, &c. Bill.

Ordered, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the further Security of His Majesty's Person and Government; and the Succession of the Crown in the Heirs of the late Princess Sophia, being Protestants; and for extinguishing the Hopes of the pretended Prince of Wales, and his open and secret Abettors," be read the Third Time To-morrow.

Tobacco Merchants, &c. Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Merchants, Importers of Tobacco and Wine, concerned in Bonds given for Part of the Duties on the same."

Continuing Laws, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for continuing several Laws therein mentioned, relating to Coals, Hemp, and Flax, Irish and Scotch Linen, and the Assize of Bread; and for giving Power to adjourn the Quarter Sessions for the County of Anglesea, for the Purposes therein mentioned."

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Thursday next.

Causes put off.

Ordered, That the Cause wherein Denis Daly Junior Esquire and Ellin his Wife are Appellants, and Mary Lynch Respondent, which was appointed to be heard To-morrow, be put off to Monday next; and the other Causes removed One Day in Course.

Adjourn.
