This Day Erengard Melosine, Baroness of Schulenburg, took the Oaths appointed, in order to her Naturalization.

Bill read the Second Time.

Timber Trees, &c. Bill.

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to encourage the planting of Timber Trees, Fruit Trees, and other Trees, for Ornament, Shelter, or Profit; and for the better Preservation of the same; and for preventing the burning of Woods."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Clarendon reported from the said Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Messages from H. C. with a Bill; and to return the Soldiers Desertion Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Comptroller and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for appointing Commissioners, to inquire of the Estates of certain Traitors and of Popish Recusants, and of Estates given to superstitious Uses, in order to raise Money out of them, severally, for the Use of the Public;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

A Message from the House of Commons, by the Lord William Pawlet and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more effectual and exemplary Punishment of such Persons as shall seduce Soldiers to desert, or who, being Papists, shall enlist themselves in His Majesty's Service, in Great Britain or Ireland, or in the Islands of Jersey or Guernsey;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to their Lordships Amendments made thereto.

Burlington Piers, Bill.

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, to consider further of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to revive and continue an Act of the Eighth and Ninth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King William, for Repair of the Piers of Bridlington, alias Burlington, in the East Riding of the County of York."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Clarendon reported from the said Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Papists to register their Estates, &c. Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed for the House to be in a Committee, to consider further of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to oblige Papists to register their Names and Real Estates:"

It is Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee, to consider further of the said Bill, To-morrow; and that the Lords be summoned to attend the Service of this House on that Occasion.

Adjourn.
