PRAYERS.

L. Vise. Say and Seale, Possession restored.

The Earl of Clarendon reported from the Lords Committees for Privileges, to whom the Matter of the Complaint of a Breach of Privilege against the Lord Viscount Say & Seale was referred: "That the Committee had heard Counsel for the Lady Katherine Jones, pursuant to her Request; and likewise Mr. Knight, on Behalf of the said Lord Viscount, in relation to his Lordship's Possession; and that the Committee had considered the Matter to them referred; and were come to the following Resolution; (videlicet,)

"That it is the Opinion of this Committee, That the Lord Viscount Say & Seale ought to be restored to such Possession as his Lordship had before the Writ of Possession complained of was executed."

Which, being read by the Clerk, was agreed to by the House.

And the Order following was made:

"Ordered, That the said Lord Viscount Say and Seale be restored to such Possession as his Lordship had before the Writ of Possession complained of was executed; and that the Sheriff of the County of Gloucester do see this Order executed accordingly."

Robbery, &c. to prevent, Bill.

The House (according to Order) resumed the adjourned Debate which arose Yesterday, upon the offering a Proviso, "That the Bill, intituled, An Act for the further preventing Robbery, Burglary, and other Felonies; and the more effectual Transportation of Felons and unlawful Exporters of Wool, shall not extend to that Part of Great Britain called Scotland."

And the said Proviso was, with an Amendment, agreed to; and is as follows:

"Provided always, That nothing in this Act contained shall extend, or be construed to extend, to such Persons as shall be convicted, or attainted, in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland."

Then the Amendments made by the Committee to the Title of the Bill were read, and severally agreed to.

Dover Harbour, Bill.

The Order being read, for the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enlarging the Term of Years granted by the Acts of the Eleventh and Twelfth Years of King William the Third, and Second and Third Years of Queen Anne, for the Repair of Dover Harbour;" and for hearing Counsel, as well for as against the same:

The Counsel and Persons attending were called in.

And the said Bill was read a Second Time.

And the Counsel were heard; and several Witnesses were examined, upon Oath, at the Bar, both against and for the said Bill.

And then they withdrew.

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Friday next,

Bristol Workhouses, Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for the House to be in a Committee of the whole House upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better explaining several Acts therein mentioned, for erecting of Hospitals and Workhouses within the City of Bristol, for the employing and maintaining the Poor thereof; and for making the said Act more effectual:"

It is Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee thereupon, on Friday next.

Adjourn.
