The Lord Archbishop of Cant. reported, That his Grace, and the other Lords thereunto appointed, attended His Majesty, to acquaint him with the Judgement against the Earl of Midd. late Lord Treasurer; and humbly desired His Majesty, from the House, to send to the said Earl for the Staff, and for the Seals of the Court of Wards.

And that His Majesty answered: "That he would."

Calthorp's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act to enable Martyne Calthorpe, Esquire, to make Sale of certain Lands for Preferment of his younger Children and Payment of his Debts.

E. Middlesex's Lands liable to his Debts.

The Lord President reported the Bill to make the Lands of Lionell Earl of Middlesex, subject to the Payment of his Debts, &c. fit to pass, with some Amendments, and a Proviso; the which Amendments and Proviso were presently Twice read, and the Bill Ordered to be ingrossed accordingly.

E. Holderness's Privilege. Sill's Arrest.

Wellsbourne Sill, Servant to the Earl of Holderness, was brought to the Bar, by virtue of His Majesty's Writ of Habeas corpus cum causa; the which Writ and the Return thereof were read; and, for that the Court found he was arrested contrary to the Privileges of Parliament, he was discharged out of Prison; and John Brewer, who caused him to be arrested, committed to The Fleet, until he make his Submission.

L. Cromwell's Ditto. Tyringham's Arrest.

Edward Tyringham, Servant to the Lord Cromewell, being arrested, and in the Custody of the Sheriffs of London, upon mean Process only, was brought to the Bar, by the Serjeant at Arms attendant on this Court, according to the Order made Yesterday, and discharged.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, An Act to enable Vincent Lowe, of Denby, in the County of Derby, Esquire, to sell Part of his Lands, for Payment of his Debts.

Message from the H. C. touching Monopolies and Concealments.

Message from the House of Commons, by Sir Edward Coocke and others: To renew the Conference on the Bill concerning Monopolies, touching the Monopolies of private Persons; and to put their Lordships in Remembrance of the great Peace-maker of the Church and Common-wealth, the Bill of Concealments.

And they presented unto their Lordships Three Bill:

Bills from thence

1a, An Act for avoiding of corrupt and simoniac Contracts for Churches and Benefices; and for the preventing of undue Elections in Colleges and Halls.

2a, An Act for Restraint of Assignments of Debts to the King; and for Reformation of Abuses in levying of Debts for common Persons, in the Name and under the Prerogative of the King.

3a, An Act to settle Josse Glover, Clerk (Presentee of Dame Grace Darcy, Widow, and George Willmore, Esquire, Committees of the Body and Lands of Edward Darcy, Esquire, His Majesty's Ward), in the Church of Sutton, in the County of Surrey; and to re-settle the Inheritance of the said Advowson in the said Edward Darcy and his Heirs, as appendant to the Manor of Sutton.

Conference agreed to.

Answered: The Lords have appointed Wednesday next, at Three in the Afternoon, for a Conference touching the Bill of Monopolies.

Concealments.

And as touching the Bill of Concealments, the Lords have it in their Consideration, and their Committees are now set upon it.

Rawleigh's Restitution in Blood.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Restitution tion in Blood of Carew Raleigh, Son of Sir Walter Raleigh, Knight, late attainted of High Treason.

Upon the Reading of this Bill, Exceptions were taken unto it, for that it began in the House of Commons And Agreed, That the Lords Sub-committees for Privileges shall see an Entrance made in the Journal Book, for saving the Privileges of this House therein, and in Bills of this Nature.

Sir John Rivers's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the altering of the Tenure and Custom of the Lands late of Thomas Potter, Esquire, and the Lands of Sir George Rivers, Knight, and Sir John Rivers, Baronet, lying all in the County of Kent, and being now of the Nature of Gavelkind Land, and to make them descendasle according to the Course of the Common Law; and to settle the Inheritance of them upon the said Sir John Rivers and the Heirs of the said Sir John Rivers and Dame Dorothie his Wife.

Exchange between the King and the Archbishop of York

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the assuring of a Messuage, called Yorke House, and of divers other Messuages and Tenements, Part of the Possessions of the Archbishop of Yorke, situate in the Parish of St. Martyne's in the Feilds, in the County of Middlesex, unto the King's most Excellent Majesty, His Heirs, Successors, and Assigns, and of the Manors or Lordships of Brighton Santon, Acombe, alias Acom with Holgate, and The Grange, called Beckhay Grange, in the County of Yorke, or in the County of the City of Yorke, Part of His Majesty's Possessions, to Toby Lord Archbishop of Yorke and his Successors.

That the Lords will give the Commons Meeting on Wednesday next, at Eight, in the Painted Chamber, touching their Accusation of the Lord Bishop of Norwich.
