PRAYERS.

Book of Acts of the Church of Durham to be brought, and Mr. Smart to see it.

The House being informed, That the Book of Acts of the Dean and Chapter of Durham is found; it is Ordered, That the said Book of Acts be delivered into the Custody of the Clerk of the Parliament, in whose Presence Mr. Smart is to have Liberty to peruse the same, and to have Copies of those Things which he shall desire concerning the Business now depending in this House.

Brett versus Eldred.

Upon reading the Petition of Alexander Brett, against Walter Eldred and others, it is Ordered to be referred to the Committee for Petitions; and the Parties on both Sides to attend their Lordships.

Suppressing Turkish Pirates.

Ordered, That the Earl of Rutland and the Lord Seymour be added to all the Standing Committees.

Ordered, That, if the People do assemble here in any tumultuous Manner, this House will take Order to suppress them, or adjourn the House until it be done.

Earl of Cleveland's Bill.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed for the Earl of Cleveland's Bill shall have Power to adjourn themselves from Time to Time, as often as the Business shall require.

Keeping Order.

Ordered, That the Committee for Privileges do consider of the making some Orders for keeping better Order in this House.

Ordered, That the Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas is added as Assistant to the Committee for the Draining of the Fens.

The King to be moved, for a Proclamation to publish the Bill for pressing Mariners.

Ordered, That the Lord Admiral and the Earl of Bristoll do move His Majesty from this House, "That a Proclamation may be issued forth, to give Notice into all Parts of this Kingdom, and publish the Bill lately passed for the pressing of Mariners for His Majesty's Navy."
