500 PANNIER V HOLT

Robert Pannier of St Anthony's, London, gent v Lawrence Holt of St Lawrence, Pountney, London, clothier

February - April 1637

Abstract

Proceedings survive from January - April 1637, but they do not reveal either the cause or result of Pannier's complaint against Holt, a clothier.

Summary of proceedings

No counsel was mentioned. On 11 and 16 February 1637 Holt was warned to appear and respond to the libel. On 29 April 1637 the cause was related before Lord Maltravers, and warning was issued to Holt to appear to answer the libel.

Notes

Lawrence Holt of London, clothworker, was the son of George Holt of Much Brickhill, co. Buckingham, and Elizabeth, daughter of one Meade. He married Anne, daughter of one Westraw. Robert Pannier did not appear in the Visitations of London.
