Entry D, a 'skilful silkweaver', appeared. Had treated Mrs Noble, a midwife, for heart pains, with a potion - a 'weak syrup of poppies, anise, cumin and camomile' - wch caused thirst. Had also treated Mrs Willigis for wasting disease with a decoction of white dead-nettle, and had eased her stomach with diagridium and pulvis sanctus - did not know ingredients, but apothecaries esteemed it. Had read Matthioli on urines.
