Entry Samuel Peke complained of W, surgeon, who had undertaken his cure 'ex Compacto, pro ulcusculo, ut P dicit in Guttore ex ossiculo piscis in oesophagum illapso: sed ut W affirmat, pro Morbo gallico.' W said he had given P a certain purgatory potion for a week, but only on the advice of Dr Bredwell. B said he didn't remember any surgeon coming to him for advice in the last 5 months.
