Entry In the enquiry into the death of Edward Reve, evidence was given that R, on the advice of one Blague of Lambith Marsh, chose (among others) 'one Winter chirurgian' to attend him for swollen testicles. Thomas MYNDE, Winter's servant, administered an 'inunction', but anointed the wrong parts.

Entry Edward Cottaw charged W, apothecary/surgeon, with giving him a cathartic for chafed skin, and pills, and when he complained at their lack of effect, one pill which loosened all his teeth. Finally W had taunted C with having the French pox. He had charged 30s.

Entry Jeane, the wife of James Kellaway of Totnam, aged 50, accused W, of Fleet Street and West Greene in Totnam, of agreeing to cure her for a hen, 20 chickens and a lamb. He had given purges and unction, pills and a cupping for 10 sheep, and 2 clysters for a goose and 2 goslings.
