Translation
The daughter of Thomas Loup surrenders in full court those two charters with all the right and claim that she has in certain land at Felton.

  • 2. ie. 20/6/13(1) and 20/6/14. (1) is an indented lease from Thomas Loup to Richard de Capella of all his lands with messuages and all other appurtenances in the township of Felton, the gift of Master Philip once cook at the convent of St. Peter's Gloucester, to hold of Thomas for life paying 12d rent to Thomas and 6d p.a. to the Prior of Bromfield and all services due to Thomas. After Richard's death, reversion to Thomas and heirs-this is probably Thomas’s copy of the lease, not Richard’s. /14 is a grant by Thomas Loup to his daughter Clarice and her heirs of the 12d rent, with reversion of the property after Richard’s death to Clarice, paying a clove to Thomas and his heirs and the 6d rent to the prior of Bromfield. Thus 13(2) is probably a surrender of the 12d rent and reversion of the property to the prior as lord.
