Question

Aug 02 2010, 12:37:05 Redrock, Bishopsteignton

At a place called Redrock on the north bank of the River Teign are the remains of a 6-sided stone structure. It stands on the rock about 10 feet above the river. It appears to be double walled with a passage running all the way around between the two. There is either a threshold into the central space of the building or the base of a fireplace, it being difficult to tell as only the foot print of the building remains. The whole thing is approximately 9 metres accross and has a stone staircase leading upto it. The building has a uninterupted view top to bottom of the estuary and beyond. I have been unable to find out anything about it.
