Question

Dec 01 2010, 13:30:02 Haveringwell House

I have in my possession an original counterpart lease dated 23 December 1899 between Mrs Elizabeth Thomas Watson Strugnell and Mr. Alfred Barber for Haveringwell House, Hornchurch, Essex. The lease is for a period of 18 1/2 years at a rental of One hundred and four pounds. The property comprised of a mansion house, gardens, courtyards, coachhouse, stables, outhouses, offices and buildings as well as 15 acres of land (more or less). I have found out that it was still occupied in 1919, by H. Tarry.
I would appreciate any information regarding the property which no longer appears to exist.
Many thanks.
