Was there ever a The Hospital, Holywell Hill St Albans, Hertfordshire? I have not been able to find any referance to this hopsital. Appreciate your comments Thank you.

For medieval hospitals, check the Religious Houses section of VCH Hertfordshire, volume 4, available on BHOL.

There is a Hospital in St. Albans, Herts but it is in Waverley Road, St Albans. It is situated between St Peters St and Batchwood Drive. I am not sure how long it has been there though.
