Question

Feb 10 2010, 03:51:22 Alkerton's in the U.K.

I have been looking into my family's past and have found many, many holes in our past and no one to fill in what is missing. I have learned that the origin of my name was do to it being used by my ancestors to let people know they were from the village of Alkerton. But my search for Alkertons outside of Canada has come up completely cold, there are about 40 of us in Canada and 2 in the U.S. we are all related back to a family that immagrated sometime in the late 1870's, after that nothing and no one has a clue from there. Gregg Alkerton
