What is on British History Online is a faithful reflection of what is in the printed Journal. The reason for the jump in dates in this case is that some of the original manuscripts on which the Journal is based were lost before the Journal was printed.

The gap is partly made up by two of the other sources on British History Online: Simonds D'Ewes Journal of all the Parliaments and Heywood Townshends's Historical Collections.
