Questions > : 'Crucifix Lane Bermondsey Gargoyles'

Question

May 06 2010, 14:27:24 Crucifix Lane Bermondsey Gargoyles

The Rail Arches at Crucifix Lane have some sort of gargoyles that run along there.
Could someone tell me what they were for?
Were they to expel water or just decorative, and who built them?
