PRAYERS.

Letter from a Person of Quality to his Friend in the Country, to be burnt:

Complaint was made to the House of a dangerous Book, printed, intituled, A Letter from a Person of Quality to his Friend in the Country.

Which was read; and thereupon it is ORDERED, That the said Printed Book shall be burnt at The Royall Exchange in London, and in The Old Palace Yard at Westminster, by the Hand of the Common Hangman, between the Hours of Twelve and One of the Clock, on Wednesday the Tenth Day of this Instant November; and that the Sheriffs of London and Middlesex do take Care that Execution be done accordingly.

Committee to discover the Publisher, &c.

Also these Lords following are appointed to consider what Brand and Judgement from this House shall be set and given upon the said Printed Pamphlet; and to enquire out the Author, Publisher, and Printer of it; and to make Report unto this House:

Streater versus Isted, in Error.

This Day the Lord Chief Justice of the Court of King's Bench brought in a Writ of Error, in the usual Manner, to reverse a Judgement given in the Court of King's Bench; in which Writ of Error John Streater is Plaintiff, and Ambrose Isted is Defendant.

ORDERED, That the Earl of Berks is added to all the Standing Committees.

Protests, Manner of entering them.

ORDERED, That on Thursday next this House will be in a Committee, to consider of the Manner of en- tering Protestations.

Sir Peter Pett's Petition.

ORDERED, That the Petition of Sir Peter Pett, read this Day, shall be taken into Consideration To- morrow Morning, after the Business appointed for the Day is dispatched.

ORDERED, That To-morrow Morning this House will take into Consideration the Vote which was sent from the House of Commons, to recall His Majesty's Subjects in the Service of the French King; and no- thing to intervene.

Darrell versus Whitchcott.

This House being moved, "That the Lord Keeper may make Report of what hath been offered, by Counsel, at the Bar, in the Cause upon the Pe- tition and Appeal of Marmaduke Darrell Esquire, and the Answer of Sir Jeremy Whitchcot, depending in this House:"

It is ORDERED, &c. That on Thursday the 18th Day of this Instant November, the Lord Keeper do state to this House what was offered by the Counsel on either Part in the said Cause on the First Day of June last, to the End the Lords may proceed to give Judgement there- upon.

Streater versus Isted, in Error.

Whereas there is a Writ of Error this Day brought into this House, wherein John Streater is Plaintiff, against Ambrose Isted Defendant; this House being moved, "That the said John Streater (who is now a Prisoner upon Execution in the Prison of The Fleete), may have Liberty to attend the Prosecution of his said Writ of Error:"

It is ORDERED, That the said John Streater shall have Liberty (with a Keeper) to attend the Prosecu- tion of the said Writ of Error in the House of Peers, and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To the Warden of the Prison of The Fleete, his Deputy and Deputies.

Bulkley versus Bulkley, in Error.

Whereas there is a Writ of Error depending in this House, between William Bulkley Plaintiff, and Bar- tholmew Bulkley Defendant, upon which Errors are assigned, and Issue is joined:

Upon the Petition of the said Bartholmew Bulkley pre- sented this Day, it is ORDERED, &c. That this House will hear Counsel, to argue the said Errors, on both Parts, at the Bar, on Monday the 18th Day of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Fore- noon; whereof the said Bartholmew Bulkley is to cause timely Notice to be given to the said William Bulkley, for that Purpose.

Adjourn.
