Prayers.

Price's Conveyance.

A BILL to supply a defective Conveyance, made by Roger Price, of the Manor of Westbury in the County of Bucks, was read a Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Treby, Mr. Boscawen, Sir Henry Ford, Sir Wm. Ellis, Mr. Paul Foley, Mr. Pilkington, Sir John Newton, Sir John Lowther, Mr. Hopkins, Mr. Stroud, Mr. White, Sir Rowland Gwyn, Sir Robert Markham, Sir John Moreton, Serjeant Maynard, Mr. Colt, Sir Trevor Williams, Mr. Fleetwood, Mr. Onslow, Colonel Jefferyes, Mr. Tho. Foley, Mr. Stratford, and all the Members that serve for the Counties of Bucks, Oxon, and Northampton, and the several Cities and Boroughs therein, and all the Members of the Long Robe: And the Committee is to look into the several Settlements in the Bill mentioned; as also the Powers of Revocation, and intended Jointure, alleged in the Bill; and to summon before them the several Parties concerned: And they are to meet at Three of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber: And are impowered to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Defaulters to Call of the House.

Ordered, That such Members, who are ordered to be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, for not attending the Service of this House at the Call of the same Yesterday made, and who were in Town last Night, be admitted to sit in the House, without paying Fees.

Dr. Burnett's History of the Reformation.

Ordered, That Doctor Burnett be desired to proceed with and complete that good Work by him begun, in writing and publishing the History of the Reformation of the Church of England.

Great Marlow Election.

A Petition of Thomas Hobby Esquire, touching the Election for Great Marlow in the County of Bucks, was read.

Ordered, That the Merits of this Petition be heard at Bar of this House this Day Sevennight.

Committees added.

Ordered, That Sir Francis Rolls, Sir John Hotham, Sir Francis Drake, Mr. Owen, Sir William Cooper, Mr. Duke, Sir Eliab Harvey, Sir Edward Harley, Sir Trevor Williams, Colonel Mildmay, Sir Robert Clayton, Sir John Knight, Sir Natha. Johnson, Mr. Hales, Mr. Mansell, Mr. Stratford, and all the Members that serve for the City of London, be added to the Committee to whom the Bill for the Exportation of Beer, Ale, and Mum, was committed.

Security for a person impeached.

A Petition of Richard Thompson Clerk, in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, was read.

Ordered, That the said Serjeant at Arms be impowered to receive sufficient Security for the Forthcoming of the said Richard Thompson, to answer to the Impeachment of this House against him.

Affrican Company.

A Petition of Samuel Nash, and others, complaining against the Affrican Company, was read.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Committee to whom a former Petition of divers Merchants against the Affrican Company was referred; to examine the Matter thereof; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Ordered, That Sir John Hobart, Mr. Evelin, Sir Francis Drake, Colonel Mildmay, Mr. Burrard; and all the Members of the Long Robe; and all the Members that serve for the County of Norfolk, and Boroughs therein, be added to the said Committee.

Sir W. Scroggs' Impeachment.

The House then, according to their Order, resumed the adjourned Debate touching the Articles of Impeachment delivered in to the House against Sir William Scroggs Knight, Chief Justice of the Court of King's Bench.

The Title, and the First Part of the said Articles, being read;

Ordered, That the Title be postponed.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the said Sir William Scroggs be impeached upon the First Article.

The Second of the said Articles being read;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the said Sir William Scroggs be impeached upon the said Article.

The Third of the said Articles being read;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the said Sir William Scroggs be impeached upon the said Article.

The Fourth of the said Articles being read;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the said Sir William Scroggs be impeached upon the said Article.

The Fifth of the said Articles being read;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the said Sir William Scroggs be impeached upon the said Article.

The Sixth of the said Articles being read;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the said Sir William Scroggs be impeached upon the said Article.

The Seventh of the said Articles being read;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the said Sir William Scroggs be impeached upon the said Article.

The Eighth and last of the said Articles being read;

The Clause of Reservation of exhibiting any further Articles, and of replying to the Answer of the said Sir William Scroggs, being read;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House doth agree to the said Clause.

The Title to the said Articles being again read;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House doth agree to the same.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the said Articles, Clause, and Title, thus agreed upon, be ingrossed.

Ordered, That the Lord Cavendish do carry up the said Articles to the Lords.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees that are discontinued, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon in the Places formerly appointed.

Impeachment of the Judges.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to examine the Proceedings of the Judges in Westminster Hall, and to prepare Impeachments against Sir Francis North Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas, Sir Thomas Jones One of the Justices of the Court of King's Bench, and Sir Richard Weston One of the Barons of the Court of Exchequer, do bring in such Impeachments with all convenient Speed.

Ordered, That Mr. Macnamarra, Mr. Maurice Fitzgerald, and Mr. Mortegh Downy, do attend this House To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock.

Evidence against impeached Lords.

The House being informed, That one * Bowyer was, upon Intimation given by the Committee appointed to prepare Evidence against the Popish Lords in the Tower, taken into Custody;

Ordered, That the said Bowyer be delivered into the Hands of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House: And that he be brought to the Bar of this House To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, in order to his Examination.

Ordered, That Richard Green and * Woodhouse do attend To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock.

Army Accompts.

Ordered, That Sir Ralph Delavall, Sir John Hotham, Sir Francis Drake, Sir George Hungerford, be added to the Committee appointed to receive the Accompts of the Commissioners for disbanding the Army.

Plot in Ireland.

Ordered, That the Committee, appointed to receive Informations touching the Popish Plot in Ireland, do sit this Afternoon in the Speaker's Chamber: And that the said Committee do make Report to the House of the Matters to them referred, at Nine of the Clock To-morrow Morning.

And then the House adjourned to Eight of the Clock To-morrow Morning.
