Jan. 9.
Havering atte Bower.
To Alexander de Bokelond, Henry de Stureye, Walter Wyse, Thomas de Brokhill, William Vaghan, Thomas de Gilyngham and James Lapyn. Order to be attendant upon the collecting, levying and receipt of the said tenth and fifteenth in co. Kent without awaiting the presence of Henry Haute, whom the king appointed with them for this, as by letters shown by Henry before the council, the king granted that he should not be made a minister against his will, during his life, and he is so weak that he cannot travail to execute the premises as the king has learned by trustworthy testimony.

To John Cressy, John de Sutton, Simon de Caumbrey and John de Ernele. Like order with respect to John Michel, appointed with them etc. as above, as he is so weak and broken by age that he cannot travail to execute the premises. By C.
