April 24.
Westminster.
To the sheriff and escheator in Wilts. Order to cause a moiety of the manor of Stapelford to be resumed into the king's hand and to deliver it to Henry son of Henry Sturmy and Margaret his wife, as at the suit of the said Henry and Margaret showing that they had been unjustly amoved from the said moiety by reason of a writ to the sheriff and escheator to seize into the king's hand the manor of Stapelford among the other lands which belonged to John Mautravers, which came into the king's hand by his forfeiture and were granted by the king to Maurice de Berkele, and to deliver it to John to whom the king remitted all forfeiture, and both that moiety and the other moiety which belonged to John, and which were granted to Maurice as the manor of Stapelford by reason of that forfeiture, were delivered by the sheriff and escheator to John, the king ordered the said sheriff and escheator to notify John to be in chancery on the quinzaine of Martinmas last to show cause why the said moiety, which Henry and Margaret assert to have been taken out of their possession, should not be seized into the king's hand and restored to them, and both John and Henry and Margaret came on that day and the process thereupon being continued with the assent of the parties until the quinzaine of Easter following John came by John le Spenser, his attorney, and gave no reason why the said moiety should not be seized into the king's hand and delivered to Henry and Margaret.

To the collectors of customs in the port of London. Order to pay to Queen Isabel or to her attorney 250l. for Easter term last, in accordance with the king's grant to her of 1,500l. to be received yearly of the customs in that port and in the ports of Kyngeston upon Hull and Boston, to wit 500l. in each.
The like to William de la Pole, to whom the king granted the ancient custom of wool, hides and wool-fells in the port of Kyngeston upon Hull, to pay 250l. for Easter term to the said queen.
The like to the collectors of customs in the port of Boston to pay 250l. for the said term to that queen.
April 16.
Westminster.
To the sheriff of Nottingham and Derby. Order to pay to Nicholas de la Despense 10l. for Easter term last, in accordance with the king's grant to him of 20l. to be received yearly for life of the issues of those counties, in recompense for 20l. of land yearly of the lands which belonged to William de Bredon in the county of Derby, granted to him by the late king, which were afterwards restored to William with the assent of parliament.
