Request and order, to take again letters patent concerning a maintenance in that priory which John Roos esquire has at request of the late king, even as John Bont deceased had, if he will give them up, to admit Alexander Langwyth the king's esquire to their house, and grant him for life the same maintenance, making and delivering to him letters patent under the seal of their house, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as John Roos is minded that the said Alexander shall have his whole estate therein, praying the king's assent. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against Gilbert Debenham, by the late king appointed with others to make inquisition in Suffolk what lands were without licence of that king or of his forefathers aliened in fee by Roger Withermersshe the elder tenant in chief, to whom, what estate they had by reason of such alienation, and the yearly value of the lands, in whose hands they were, when they were aliened and how, and all other the circumstances, but order to proceed against them that did meddle therein; as that commission came not to the said Gilbert's hands, as he has made oath in chancery.

John Gryffyn, son and heir of William Gryffyn late burgess of Gloucester, to John Banbury of Gloucester merchant, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all lands, rents and revenues in the east street within the town of Gloucester between land of the prior of Lanthony by Gloucestre on the west and of the prior of St. Oswald Gloucestre on the east, which lands were sometime of Amice Gryffyn mother of the grantor, and descended to him by inheritance after her death. And because his seal is to many unknown he has procured that the seal of office of the bailiffs of Gloucester shall be hereto set. Witnesses: Robert But and Thomas Compton bailiffs of Gloucester, William Bridlep, John Saundrys, Richard Chamberleyn, John More the elder, John Broke clerk. Stephen Edolfe and John Edolfe of Kent to John Profit and Joan his wife, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim of all lands, rents and services, woods etc. in the parishes of Halstede, Chellesfelde, Farynbergh, Shorham, Okolt and Otteforde purchased by the said Stephen of Edward de Sancto Johanne knight, namely the manor of Henys in Halstede etc. co. Order, to the end the king may more peaceably attend to his sport and other honest pursuits on the set days remaining, upon sight etc. to cause proclamation to be made that, by advice of the council, for the peace of his person and of all his lieges willing henceforward by petition to sue with him for furtherance of business whatsoever, he has appointed that all such lieges shall repair to his presence, or the presence of others by him deputed for the purpose, on two days in every week, namely Wednesday and Friday, at places and times to be by him limited in order to present their petitions, when his will is that from time to time their business shall be furthered or a fit answer be given as the case shall require.
