Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 100 marks, made in chancery 24 January this year by John Newenham clerk, John Appelby of London 'brewer,' John Coser 'scryvener' and John Boteler 'barbour,' both of London, for John Lyster, that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to John Moreby prior of the house of the Carthusian order within the Isle of Axiholm, his men or servants.
Memorandum of a like mainprise, mutatis mutandis, under a pain of 40l.; made 25 January by John Lancastre of Norffolk, William de la Pole and Hugh Dalby of Warwickshire and Adam Houden for John prior of the house of the Visitation of St. Mary of the Carthusian order within the Isle of Axiholm, in regard to John Lyster.
