Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of Richard Gabrielle of Devon, Thomas Shelforde of Lincolnshire, John Tretheak of Cornwall and Thomas Pytyngton of Northumberland, in favour of John Gillowe of Tettesworth chaplain at suit of John Harpour against him and Thomas Mundy of Tettesworth the younger for trespass.

Notice that in consideration of the shortness of time between 3 December and Christmas, and that the business which concerns the estate, governance and defence of the realm is too arduous to be ventilated, debated and determined within so short a space, the king has prorogued until the morrow of St. Hilary next at Westminster the parliament summoned at Coventre on 3 December, and summons to the said parliament, with the clause premunientes. To the abbot and convent of Wynchecombe. Request and order to take again letters patent concerning a maintenance in that abbey, if Walter Yonge (sic) will give them up, to admit the said Walter to their house, and grant him for life that maintenance, making and delivering to him letters patent under the seal of the house, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as John West, who has a maintenance therein at the request of King Edward III, is minded that the said Walter shall have all his estate in the same, and is ready to give up the said letters as he says, praying the king's assent. John Warmyngton clerk to Hugh Luterell knight. Quitclaim of all the manors, lands etc. in Debenham and Little Waldyngfelde cos. Suffolk and Norffolk which the said clerk had by grant of Elizabeth Luterell by fine levied in the late king's court.
