which she has by their grant, as contained in a fine levied in the
king's court between the said John and Thomas plaintiffs and the
said Joan and Roger Deyncourt defendants; and covenant that
if she or her attorney be not present in the church to receive that
rent, or the said John and Thomas be not requested to pay it,
they and the heirs or assigns of the said Thomas or the executors
of John and Thomas may pay it to the rector there or to the
churchwardens in her name, and that if it be forty days in arrear
she may enter again and hold the premises in her first estate,
rendering to them after such entry 100s. a year, with proviso
that she be not bound to pay it until contented of her arrears,
with damages and costs, and shall not be bound after such entry
to repair the houses of the said manor and messuages (sic), and
covenant that if they shall be troubled or prejudiced by any
recognisance by her made in any court, or any bond, recognisance
of statute merchant or of the staple, or by other charge whatsoever,
or made by John Curson, William Sautre, William Felmersham,
John Mary, James Billyngforde, William Trendell or any other
having estate or possession in the premises, it shall be lawful to
