Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against Thomas Purfrey, appointed with others to make inquisition concerning waste and sale in the lands, houses, woods and gardens in Walton upon the 'Strete,' parcel of the priory of Monks [Kirby] co. Warrewyk, committed by John Marchall of Plyngton after the priory came to the late king's hands by reason of the war with France, to the disherison of the priory church, but order to proceed against them that did meddle therein; as that commission came not to the hands of the said Thomas, neither had he knowledge of it, as he has made oath in chancery.

To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against John Pelham and Thomas Swynburne knights, appointed to survey the town and castle of Calais and all castles and forts in the march thereof, and at their discretion to pay to the men at arms, armed men, archers, crossbowmen and other men therein abiding at the king's wages, in part of their wages, a sum of money to them delivered by the late treasurers of the wars; as they have made oath in chancery that that commission came never to their hands.
Memorandum of the covenants in regard to strife and debate between Sir John Cornwaille and Master William Bray on the one part and the abbot of Beaulieu on the other concerning the farm and vicarage of Seint Keyerain, which was referred to Thomas archbishop of Cantelbury the chancellor, and he has awarded that the abbot shall pay Sir John 100l., to wit 50l. at Easter next or three weeks after and 50l. at Michaelmas following; Sir John shall deliver his deeds of the farm to the keeping of the clerk of the rolls, and Master William shall account before auditors, men of that court appointed by Sir William Hankeforde, for 160l. for the said farm for two years before the lease by him granted to Sir John, shewing them the debtors, and they shall make him allowance for all that is in the hands of others, and what he has received he shall pay, and if part be in his hands they shall not award him to prison; if he has any acquittance made by the abbot or his predecessor, and may by three men prove that it was lawfully made, they shall allow that, and his costs for divers things needful for the house, and for his travail during those two years; and he shall have acquittance under the common seal of all actions before the two years, and shall before mid Lent make them an acquittance; the abbot shall be nonsuited of all writs against him, a writ of execution for 20l. and others, and shall stay all actions against him; a bond by Master William and others made to John Baath and Gascoin (sic) shall be to him delivered, and he shall peaceably hold the vicarage; this account shall take place by mid Lent or Easter following, and after his account he shall have acquittance under the common seal of the abbey of all actions: if the abbot fail to keep these covenants or make default in the payments aforesaid the clerk of the rolls shall deliver the deeds to Sir John, and Sir John shall have advantage of the bond for 100l., without any protection set up against him by the abbot or his counsel if they go to the common law, and if the abbot fulfil all the conditions, after the last payment the clerk of the rolls shall deliver the deeds to him.
